I finally FINISHED a quilt- can you believe it?

I have started 4 quilts- and have never finished one.........until NOW! I made this baby quilt for my good friend Lara..well for her baby boy Jax. He is toooooooo cute. And if i don't say so myself...the blanket turned out pretty cute. It really has made me want to finish my other blankets and make some more.

WOW! That is sooo dang cute. I am actually kinda disgusted with just how cool this quilt is. I want to be able to make a quilt this cool. You should definitely keep up the quilt making. Love it! Love you!

I'm Jay's (Jarubla) wife. Found your blog through his. Anyway, I have only ever finished one quilt that I did completely by myself as well (helped my mom and sister finish plenty though). Isn't it such a great feeling to get finished!? I love your quilt! It is gorgeous!

Ok I saw it in person last night and I was flummoxed. It's beautiful. How did you do the stippling stitch without a quilting machine (unless you have a quilting machine, then how did you get a quilting machine?)?

flummoxed huh...thats a great word. i stitched on all the circles by hand, but the actual quilting- yeah RIGHT!! i would never even attempt that by hand. I had it quilted at the Quilting Cottage in AF. Oh wait- I mean, yes of course I quilted that by hand! thank you for loving it

Amazing, beautiful, so unique, non-traditional, yet gorgeous quilt!! I want one! Andrea, you are so talented...I would pay big bucks for something like this. you should sell! Of course, quilts may be hard to spend so much time on and then sell--- they have sentimental meaning, huh? I have always said quilts are the best gift to recieve. You can never have too many! So incredible. I'm SO SO impressed

OH Ashley! I love that you can relate to cold NY winters as a missionary! I always say I want to go back on my mission...but whenever it gets cold i start remembering the torture of NY winters and decide, im fine where I am. :)
