So I just have to give a shout out to my dad today. 57 years ago today, March 31 1951, little Hanson Bayles was born.
I love you Dad.

Suckers BEWARE!
So I've already played this joke on 2 people today to test out my April Fools skills, and I'd say it went over better than expected.
OH WATCH OUT! YOU HAVE A SPIDER ON YOUR SHOULDER!!!!!
(now is when you jump out of your chair and start screaming and flailing your arms and hitting yourself and shaking your hands in your hair, in case the spider went from shoulder to hair)
wait for it......
APPPPRIIILLLLL FOOOOLLSSSS!!!!!!!....tomorrow
PS- In all reality, that is probably the only April Fools joke I've ever played on anyone. And I was telling someone at work that today and I tried it out on her, thinking she'd know that what I was about to say was the joke I was talking about....and she totally freaked out for real! It was hilarious- but on the same token, a little dumbfounding, because hello!!! well.... She's old (love ya Marsh) and so you can't expect much from her. :)

The Screen Actors Guild...or wait...the Quilting Guild
Oh man. So I went to my first ever Quilting Guild meeting with my friend Melissa on Tuesday night. Oh. My. Gosh. There were probably about 30 women there, and we were all supposed to bring a quilt for "show and tell". Well Melissa and I were sitting towards the back and we already felt a little out of place, but then the first lady got up and showed a couple of quilts she brought......we seriously were like- um - how can we sneak out of here unseen. I literally almost did. No lie. It just got worse as more people showed theirs. It was like the most embarrassing thing EVER! Because these ladies had either machine quilted these quilts themselves on their sewing machines or hand quilted them and these quilts were HUUUGE (well some of them). I felt really lame school. So Melissa got up and showed hers and she's amazing, so that didnt help. And then I showed mine- and its my first one I'd ever made... the one for handsome little Jax..and these ladies were SOO nice! They totally clapped since it was my first one and some people took pictures of it and then after I sat down a few ladies asked me to pass it to them, so they could look at it again.
I think they were just being nice...but it sure made me feel a little less stupid for being there.
So all in all- it was fun! And I dare go back again. So yay!

Man, I sure thought I was way more of an advanced blogger, than just to be at post #133. I thought for sure I was well beyond 200. My was I mistaken.
Im addicted to Sunflower Seeds. Its not good. They shrivel up my lips and make the inside of my cheek raw. (Dont read that part Brad, because I don't want to hear you say- I told you so)
I think I'm getting a blood clot in my leg from sitting all day. I'm just SURE I'm dying.
So I don't know if any of you entered the drawing on the Old Red Barn Co quilt giveaway last week. I know I didn't because I didn't see the point because my old self that was positive and happy and optimistic has disappeared and has left an ornery synical pessimistic unhappy old hag that figured I wouldn't win anway. So I just admired the quilt from afar. Anyway- what this lady did was on her 200th post she had people leave a comment on the post and that's how they entered the drawing for the quilt giveaway. I think that is a great idea! SO I think I am going to swipe her idea and do that on my "should've been passed this point like a year ago'" 200th-post.
If I somehow find the motivation deep within me and I finish the quilt sooner, maybe I'll do it on my 150th post. And if I lose all motivation and procrastinate (the more LIKELY option), then I will do it on my 800th post (or something of the sorts)
But really- I may find more motivation than I think, because don't you worry- I am now a 55 year old woman and I am joining a quilting guild. First guild meeting- Tonight. 8pm.

just when I thought I couldn't possibly be any dumber....
When I came out to the car for work this morning I was wondering why in the heck it seemed further away then usual. Oh its becuase i parked in #3's spot- and I live in #11. Hello!! Sad thing is- is that I've done this before- but I parked in #8's last time.
I laughed and laughed, but still felt pretty dang stupid. My husband is the one that took this picture- he left before I did today, and was dying laughing. I'm glad I could be so retarded.

Deal or No Deal
So thank you all for playing the 'Which Movie do You Think I Liked' game. You are all pretty smart. I LOVED Dan in Real Life, Did NOT like Becoming Jane. I liked King of California, and I LOVED Rush Hour 3. My husbandido liked Becoming Jane, didn't like King of California, LOVED Dan in Real Life- and I think he mostly just laughed at Rush Hour because he was laughing at how hard I was laughing. I dont know why the heck I find Chris Tucker sooo hilarious. He's like riduculous and annoying, but so funny to me.
My advice to you all:
Watch Dan in Real Life- its great
Don't watch Rush Hour 3 unless its edited
Don't watch King of California unless its edited, and unless you want to be bored the whole movie, but then kind of like the ending.
Watch Becoming Jane if you want. But it's not that great.

I'm so tired it makes me literally sick- have you ever been that tired?? i'm sure everyone has been. i just feel i feel this way too much. And anyway, I just took a sleeping pill per the suggestion of my husband- he wants to make sure I'm sooo tired that I dont try to stay up and watch Little People Big World.
k im so tired- my head feels like a bowling ball teetering on a toothpick. not that my neck is so toothpick-like. k im rambling, i'll end.
here's some pics of the baby girl quilt i just made.
this is the front:the front and a corner of the back- aren't those just cute little chandeliers on that pink back fabric??-

I was just going to post my comments on them. But I'm kind of curious....which do you think i loved, and which did I not love. Any guesses???

Are we There Yet??
So it's been an eventful week. Or not really, but kind of.....but not really....sort of. I started feeling sick last Saturday- my throat was not feeling right. Then Sunday I had a fever and was sooooo achey and sickish and out of it but went to Sacrament meeting anyway because I was getting released and I don't know- I guess I just wanted to get everyone else at church sick so that I could find out who was in the new RS Presidency.
Monday, sick- came to work for an hour went home. Fever fever sick sick
Tuesday, sick- didn't even attempt to go to work. Felt like serious crap, sick sick, no fever, BARELY had a voice. Called my mom for sympathy, no answer. So I called my older sister, and she was very sympathetic. That's why I love older sisters.
Wednesday, still out of it and groggy- came to work for all 8 hrs. Felt like crap, had a voice but a reallllly bad cough and sinus congestion like you can't believe. coughed so hard I threw up.
Thursday, still a bad cough that just made me want to die. Came to work, left at 1- went home and slept. Had 2 meetings and a signing class. Coughed so hard I threw up AGAIN!
Friday- still coughy and stuffy, but am obviously feeling a little better because I can smell the serious funk in here. It smells like really bad B.O. I'm hoping that its onions and eggs or something, cuz its bad.
So I've only worked 2 1/2 days this week and this has been such a loooooong week. You'd think with all that time off I would have had lots of sleep. But just the opposite. I've slept TERRIBLE at night and was only able to nap during the day once (on thursday). So I am sooo tired and I just want to relax all weekend. So I think that is what I will do!
TGIF and better yet! TGIPD (Thank Goodnes its Pay Day)
Have a good weekend my dears

Something that would be awesome
So I just blew my nose and thought...oh interesting- that sounded like a cougar growling.
You've CLEARLY been sick much too long if you do something like that. That's just wierd.
