Man, I sure thought I was way more of an advanced blogger, than just to be at post #133. I thought for sure I was well beyond 200. My was I mistaken.

Im addicted to Sunflower Seeds. Its not good. They shrivel up my lips and make the inside of my cheek raw. (Dont read that part Brad, because I don't want to hear you say- I told you so)

I think I'm getting a blood clot in my leg from sitting all day. I'm just SURE I'm dying.

So I don't know if any of you entered the drawing on the Old Red Barn Co quilt giveaway last week. I know I didn't because I didn't see the point because my old self that was positive and happy and optimistic has disappeared and has left an ornery synical pessimistic unhappy old hag that figured I wouldn't win anway. So I just admired the quilt from afar. Anyway- what this lady did was on her 200th post she had people leave a comment on the post and that's how they entered the drawing for the quilt giveaway. I think that is a great idea! SO I think I am going to swipe her idea and do that on my "should've been passed this point like a year ago'" 200th-post.

If I somehow find the motivation deep within me and I finish the quilt sooner, maybe I'll do it on my 150th post. And if I lose all motivation and procrastinate (the more LIKELY option), then I will do it on my 800th post (or something of the sorts)

But really- I may find more motivation than I think, because don't you worry- I am now a 55 year old woman and I am joining a quilting guild. First guild meeting- Tonight. 8pm.

A lot of people do the give away thing but I don't really have anything to give away... on sparle power's blog she is giving away a fantastic apron! It really is so cute, you should check it out!! It might make that "old hag" disappear! LOL!! oh... and if you do decide to do a give away can I post a comment like 100 times to make sure I win because I love, love, loved the last quilt you posted and I am sure this one will be just as great!! :)

I wanted to enter, but then I saw she already had like 900 comments, plus I would have had to make my blog public again.... but I so was going to do it. It was a way cute quilt. So... the fact that you are even considering giving a quilt away and having a drawing makes me SO excited. But a little worried- is it going to be like most contests where friends and family can't enter? Anywho (I think you are the inspiration for me using that word?), whoever the recipient is going to be one lucky human being. Meanwhile I think you should clock your hours and come up with a price so I can buy one from you someday. And... I think its awesome you've joined a quilting guild! I feel like an old lady in a lot of ways and hope to add quilting to my repertoire someday.

I still think you should auction one off. I know how long those take you... you deserve some moola for your time. ANYBODY would be willing to pay for your quilts! They're like liquid gold!

I can't even tell you how many times a day I feel like an old lady with my orthotic shoe inserts and pill boxes (one for the morning, one for night)...on another note- I think anyone who can give away a quilt they have labored into, is quite possibly the most selfless person in the world.(!) Just make sure you will have NO regrets and your quilts are to DIE for.

Kaela- dont even be crazy!!! Friends and Family are the only people who look at my blog- this giveaway is FOR YOU!

Kara- Why do you not know what I'm talking about? I'm so confused.

Amanda- OOOH an apron giveaway!!! YES PLEASE!

Ali- I will have NO regrets giving away a quilt. The only 2 I've made so far I've given away. So I plan to make one or 2 to keep for myself, before I actually do this giveaway :)

Merri- Brad DOES love my shriveled lips, youre right! I mean, how could he NOT
