Dang you blogspot!

I dont like how at the end of each post I make it says "Posted by Andrea F at (insert time)" I really keep thinking it says, "Posted by Andrea Fat" ALRIGHT ALREADY!! I AM TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT!!!

Who you tryin' to get Crazy with ese? Don't you know I'm LOCO?

The image “http://www.sportsfanmagazine.com/sfm/graphics/stories/malibu.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

So Brad was on his way out the door this eventide (lookin mighty fine might I add- I heart him) - and he opens the door and stops and says in a calm yet intense voice - Andrea, Come Look outside our front door RIGHT now. I walked over and that is when my eyes fell upon something similar to the picture above (Minus the glistening muscles and tight buns so radiantly displayed in a form fitting USA lovin' singlet, and flowing gold locks). There were two ENTIRELY awkward looking guys each with some fluffy homemade weaponry, fashioned after what Malibu is holding above, covered in duct tape, and they were engaged in some sort of combat. I was DYING!!!! We tried to get out the camera in time-but by the time we got it, they were already leaving the premises, looking worn from battle but all the while keeping their heads held high. What gallant warriors.

It was such a weird moment in time because what the heck were they doing? And why were they doing it on our grassy knoll? And why did they act like it was so cool? I mean these boys don't date I'm sure, and they were dressed in gray sweat pants and had brought jugs of water along to quench their thirst during the heat of battle. Really boys...get a grip.

I hope they never come back. Okay actually I hope they do because as intensely awkward as it was, I think I could really pull up a chair and watch for hours. They also need to come back so I can get a picture so that you can all partake.

Am I wrong here people? I think not!!

So there is this lady at my work, sure she's sweet but come on - I have TWICE seen her leave the bathroom and not wash her hands. So that's fungus-y enough on it's own - but the other day she brought a pan of food she made to work for us to have at lunch for a potluck and I, NO LIE, witnessed her come into the building that morning, go into the bathroom WITH THE PAN!!!, use the bathroom, not wash her hands, and come out pan in unwashed hand. So needless to say - I opted out of lunch. Ya know- thinking back upon it now- I guess I should've warned the others. Oh well, too late.

THE HILLS

I AM SO EXCITED THAT THE HILLS IS BACK ON! Yesssss! It came just at a perfect time too- right as So You Think You Can Dance ended. I love that show, and I LOVED all of the top 4 but figured that Danny and Sabra would be the final 2. I had a lot of mixed emotions about it because Neil was my fave- just cuz he was hilarious, and of course amazing too. But then at the same time I loved Danny too! And Sabra...I didnt really notice her much at first but in the end thought she was superb! So yay for Sabra!!

K so that's my little shout out.

So sue me!

(You have to say the title in a gay/valley girl voice)

I bought the old school Janice Kapp Perry, I Walk by Faith cd (i originally had it on cassette , of course) that has songs about the Young Womens Values on it and I LOVE IT!!! (brad despises it) I SING IT AT THE TOP OF MY DANG LUNGS IN MY CAR AND I DONT CARE WHO KNOWS IT!!!!!!!!!!!

"Wait..What'd You Say?" continued

So for those of you who have read through my blog may have come across a post titled "Wait..What'd You Say" , where I laid out all the funny incorrect words to songs Brad has come up with. Well I just got a new one. This one comes courtesy of our good friends Curry and Melissa.

The Song: Manic Monday by the Bangles
The real words: "Just another manic monday" (Hence the title)

Curry's words: "Just another man named Monday"
LOL LOL Kills me everytime I think about it!

Please people, if you have any good ones, please share!!!

Well, Crap

I went to Panda Express the other day for lunch and excitedly opened my fortune cookie at the end of my meal to see what wise words were to guide my future. Much to my shock and depression my fortune was this: "Work on improving your exercise routine"

ARE YOU EVEN KIDDING! At first I just scoffed at it thinking- I'll show you! I Dont' even HAVE an exercise routine! So IN YO' FACE!! Then I realized that's just MORE depressing.

But my question is this- Is that even really a fortune??? I thought a fortune should be more like "Next month you will find happiness when you improve your exercise routine" Well whatever- let's just say I think Panda has a little too much insight into my life somehow and I really don't appreciate it.

Oh and I got a new Template, whatta ya think??

I got a new template. Do you like? yay or nay Oh and Lara Stice- I need help knowing how to add links to other peoples blogs. Help please!

Did you mean FUN-due?

Oh la-dee-dee la-dee-dah. Last night (Saturday) Fransy Pants and I went to Bart and Meriels apt for fondue. We didn't know who else was going to be there for sure- but we were pleasantly surprised to walk in and find Bryan and Dawn- the newlyweds!! They have been living in Mexico, just for fun, since they got married in June and we didn't know they had just come back in town. Im so glad that Bryan is so happy now. Yay for getting married and being in love! Anyway- It was a really fun night- we played the new 80's Guitar Hero, chatted, laughed, heard a GREAT story about a bruise, ate cake for Bryans 27th birthday, watched Bourne Identity and of course- ate the best fondue EVER!!!!!!! Its this amazing cheese fondue that we dipped apples, carrots, and bread in. Talk about scrumptious! I'm happy to say we are going back for chocolate fondue tomorrow. It's times like these when I really appreciate Meriel's deep love for chocolate.

Also noteworthy from this weekend- we went to Curry and Melissa's Friday night to load up the trailers with 2,000 beach balls. Don't even try to tell me that it doesn't make you tired just THINKING about throwing 2,000 into a trailer one night-just to throw them at a bunch of screaming children chasing you down the street during the parade the next day in the blazing heat for Alpine Days. But honestly- It was actually pretty fun and it's always just fun to be with Curry and Melissa and their dang cute kids (PS- go to her new blog at caughtupwiththejones.blogspot.com). Then we went and walked around the booths in the park just to take part in the whole "excitement" of Alpine Days. It reminded me alot of yester year and going to Idaho Days. Let's just say, things like that are much more exciting when you're 10.

K well I hope everyone had a great weekend and that you're all looking forward to the work week more than I am. Cuz whoa- how is the weekend already over!??!?!?!?!

Well Well Well...Look Who's Back

Sorry to all you readers of blog Andrea (all 1 of you that actually reads it), I've been a major slacker at writing. I was feeling as though Ive nothing to write about and after thinking about it for a minuto, I realized I have TOO many things to write about. So now I'm back to square one not knowing what to write. *Sigh*

So this month has been a great month so far, well of course it has been- it's July- and uh-hem- my birthday is in July. My 26th birthday was a good one. We went to Curry and Melissa's and they made us the most SCRUMPTIOUS dinner and the seriously cutest card ever. It made me cry. Thanks guys for making my birthday so so fun!! And of course thanks to my Braddy too. It was a good day. For my birthday I spoiled myself and Brad let me :) I got 2 new shirts and some shorts and contacts! The contacts are killing my eyes cuz my eyes are so dry- but I'll keep using my eye drops and hopefully it will get better.

Last weekend we went to my family reunion on my Mom's side. I was not wanting to drive the 4 hours to Rexburg to go because I just wanted my weekend at home, but I couldn't be more happy that we went. It was SO great to see my cousins that I haven't seen in a while and to catch up and just all be together. It was also so fun to go to Rexburg again. I havent been in a few years and it has grown SO MUCH! I couldnt believe it! It was soo fun to go back and see where I used to live and work. It just brought back so many memories. I love Rexburg!

Work is going good- I talked to 2 guys on the phone today for 45 mins and they were really upset and rude at first... but I'm basically just amazing and helped them and they loved me by the end of the call and insisted on telling my manager how great I was and how they've talked to 8 other coworkers of mine and noone else has been able to help them. So I got a recognition certificate. *im so great*

K well Im going to watch "Growing Up..Elephant" on Animal Planet. It is my new favorite show. It just shows a baby animal grow up and I LOOVE it! I've seen Growing Up Seal, Gorilla, Zebra, Camel, Polar Bear, and now Elephant. I'm a nerd. The Gorillas were my fave.

K well tootles. Hope you have a great day!

Hola Friends

So I don't necessarily have anything amazing to blog about today, but I feel I should write something. So I think I'll share a few things that I have done in the past week or so just to keep you updated on all the EXCITING things I do. (Exciting meaning- really average and slightly ridiculous and boring)

1. I have been yelled at on the phone at work. One guy yelled at me and then he realized he'd clicked on the wrong link to something- so it was entirely his fault and he really didn't need to call in, but he was still mad at me afterwards, wierd.

2. I have yelled at another driver, a couple of times, on the road for driving to slow while merging on to the freeway and I'm stuck behind them.

3. I bought a new bag and some cute green earrings at Nordstroms.

4. Gained a pound or two...grrr - but you'll see why below.

5. Had 2 cans of Dr. Pepper a day.

6. Ate a salad for lunch today, but counterbalanced any good that did with a Snickers milkshake.

7. Dropped food down my shirt more than twice in public and had to fish it out.

8. Ooh- speaking of fishing, I went fishing for the first time!

9. Went to Ikea, the new one in Draper for the first time.

10. Ate a meal at the Jones' with sausage in it and actually LOVED the sausage.

11. Cried in the grocery store because I talked to my little sister and missed her and wanted to fly to VA and hang out with her.

12. Wore polka dots 3 days in a row. (Mind you, these are at least 3 different shirts)

13. Watched a ton of King of Queens.

14. Surprisingly only played Guitar Hero once!!

15. Walked around in public with a button undone on my shirt on two occassions and my zipper down once.

16. Called T-Mobile to find out how much a couple phones I want would cost to upgrade to and was told by the kid that he'd have to put me on hold cuz he needed to pull up his "how much they cost list"

17. Learned alot about hookahs from a customer that called in about his merchant account. He sells them on his website.

and last, I only did my hair once. I have just been pulling it back in a pony tail.

Wow... after re-reading all that, I really am beginning to dislike myself.

I LOVE TICKLEHOOK

So this weekend was soo soo soo fun!!! We went to Huntsville, UT to my sister-in-law's parents house that they just built that they haven't moved into yet. There were 3 couples and we had a blast. This house is right on the lake and its just ginormous!!! I will for sure add some pictures later- although no pics or words could do it justice. It was the most beautiful home in the most beautiful area- it was just so relaxing and perfect. And also, I got to go fishing for my first time!! Fishing was awesome- except for the fact that I had to jump in the cold muddy lake 3 times to unhook our lures that got stuck on one thing or another, I got so sunburned that I can barely move, aaaaand in 4 hours all we caught was a 3 inch fish that we had to throw back. All in all- I honestly can't wait to fish again- I loved it!!!!! It was just awesome to lounge around by the pool, make s'mores in the fire pit, watch boats on the lake, watch movies in the theater room, and laugh all weekend with friends. Good times. But now I'm back in my apt, back in reality and can only dream of the beloved estate on the lake, known as Ticklehook.

Wait...What'd you say?

So one of my most favorite things in life is when people sing the wrong words to songs. I do it all the time, in fact many a time I realize that the words I'm singing aren't even real words. I do have to say that my hubs Brad has had some of the funniest mix ups- so I feel the need to share.

The song: Blame it on the rain by Milli Vanilli
The OBVIOUS words:
"Blame it on the rain

Brads words:

"Blame it on the ranger"
He sang this on our first date- and he growled like a bear when he gave me a hug at my door when he was saying goodnight. How did this boy get a 2nd date?!

The song: Hands to Heaven by Breathe
The Actual words:
"Tonight you calm my restlesness"

Brads words:

"Tonight you call my breast nuts nice"
When I asked him what the heck breast nuts are, he said- I dont know! I just thought they were like chestnuts!

The song: Down on the Corner by Credence Clearwater Revival
CCR's words:
"Down on the Corner, Out in the street"

Brads words:

"Down on the Corner, Howdy in the street"
LOVE IT!

The song: Babys Got Back by Sir Mix-A-lot
The real words:
"Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin You say you wanna get in my Benz?"

Brads words:

"
Ooh Rumpelstiltskin..say you wanna get in my Benz?"
I actually have heard many people getting this one wrong

The song: Break my Stride by Matthew Wilder
Aaaand the real words:
"Ain't nothin gonna break my stride"

Brads words:

"Aint nothin gonna break my spine"
I nearly died when he sang this. I LOVE IT!

So I graduated this week.......from my training class at work :) So I started a new job 2 1/2 weeks ago at Authorize.Net doing customer support. Its a great company and I love it. We had a two week training and so this past Monday after we took our final test- we had cake and got a certificate of graduation. Kind of funny - but way nice of them to do for us. There are 6 of us in my new training group, and they are all really awesome- so Im really happy I've found a good job with good people. So anywho- above is a picture of my Certificate- I tried to take a picture of it in the sunlight to let the gold shimmer. And theres also a pic of the 99% eaten cake. You can give me my graduation presents whenever you'd like, Thanks

Ah, Life

So tonight I went to a bridal shower for our good friend Bryan Freelands fiance Dawn. It was way fun because it was not like a regular bridal shower, it was just small and intimate. It was fun! My sister-in-law Meriel and her sister Rachel put it together and us 3 and Dawn's friend Natalie surprised Dawn tonight and took her to Salt Lake. First of all we went and ate an Italian restraunt Biaggis at the Gateway. (Way yum and really good priced by the way) Then we had just pitched in money and so we walked down to Victorias Secret and helped her pick out some goods. She's such a cute girl and it was all so worth it cuz she was so shocked when we surprised her and she was so happy about it cuz she thought she wasnt going to get a bridal shower. So yeah- fun night with the girls.

Right now I should be going to bed, but I decided to do a post- and watch Little People Big World and Dog the Bounty Hunter- that's right, Little People and Dog, I have my priorities straight, so stop questioning. My cute husband is making some homemade oreo cookies right now. Love you boyfriend! My husbands so funny, maybe I need to mention some facts about Brad right now.

1. When he says he has cleaned the house- he has cleeeeaned the house. He like washes baseboards, scrubs down the toaster, cleans all the spices in the spice racks, uses the lint brush on the microfiber couches, fluffs pillows, does laundry.......yeah- he's amazing!

2. Brad never gets brain freezes!! I didn't know that was possible. I thought of this cuz I just had one and he thought I was such a baby- but he just doesn't comprendo.

3. Ah, comprendo- that brings me to my next thought. I love, and I mean LOVE to use spanish words knowingly in the wrong context cuz it so irritates Brad. HA! I guess Im a bad wife for that, but it's hilarious. Cuz he every time corrects me immediately. The other day he even went as far as to tell me, when I purposely said "soy listo" (basically "I'm ready", just totally wrong context) that "If you learn wrong, you'll speak wrong" HA i love it.

4. Fransy Pants is basically the funniest person I know. Some of the things he says blows my mind, theyre so hilarious and I don't know how he comes up with them. I love it. He cracks me up all the time.

5.
I love to call him Fransy Pants on occassion- like fancy pants combined with Frandsen

6. So my family is all about having our backs scratched. When I first started dating Brad and needed a back scratch- let's be honest- he sucked. But he has come a long way and is so sweet to scratch my back whenever I ask (and thats at LEAST once daily folks, so thats kindness)

Okay I could continue on, and I will sometime- but this is getting long, it's late and the real reason- - - the cookies are done. Peace.

WICKED!!!!!!

Oh my gosh- I get sooo excited and a huge smile on my face from just even THINKING of Wicked! AAAAAHHHHH!!! (That's me screaming because I loved it so much). So anyway, it was the BEST thing EVER!! This past weekend -May 26th -I flew to Denver and met my Mom, my sister Anneke, my aunt Darla and her daughter Diane, who had driven out there the day before and we went and saw Wicked. People- if you haven't seen it, you HAVE to go. It's AMAZING! The music of course is fabulous, and it was just so hilarious and amazing! It gave me such a different outlook on the Wizard of Oz. Oh I just can't wait to go again! It was hilarious because as soon as it started, Anneke, just started bawling because she was so excited. She pretty much cried through the whole thing. She was a mess by the time it was over. I couldn't help make fun of her for it. GET A GRIP LADY! :) No, it was really good- and it did almost (and I repeat ALMOST) brings you to tears in a spot or two. Elfaba was my favorite by far! AMAZING VOICE! But- the whole thing was spectacular. SPECTACULAR! Does that word describe it? Hmm- Hold please.....

spec·tac·u·lar [spek-tak-yuh-ler] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –adjective
1.of or like a spectacle; marked by or given to an impressive, large-scale display.
2.dramatically daring or thrilling
–noun
3.a single television production featuring well-known performers and characterized by elaborate sets, costumes, staging, etc. Compare special (def. 13).
4.an impressive, large-scale display: another Hollywood spectacular.

Yep- that works. It truly was spectacular.

This is the Denver Performing Arts Center where we watched Wicked. There are like 5 theaters or something here and it was just a really cool huge center with little cafes and shops and stuff outside between the theaters.

Here I am outside of our theater.
Anneke, Mom, Wicked Poster, Me

Here's the crew walking down 16th Street Mall after a day of Wicked and shopping. Oh and after the show we went to Cheesecake Factory- YUM!

This is a random old man playing the saxaphone, apparently. Not only was he playing the saxaphone on the street, but he was also wearing fringe. I dare say it doesn't get better than that.
Here's just a shot of some buildings on the 16th Street Mall. There was not really any AMAZING stores there, but it was fun just to walk around and do a little shopping and just enjoy the city and the vacation. No cars can drive down the 16th Street Mall, they only let a shuttle and a little train drive down it, and I almost stepped out in front of both in the course of 3 hours. Luckily the shuttle driver gave a little honk on his horn.

I LOVE WICKED!!!

The hairs of time

The title explains it all. Here's a look at some of the different hairstyles I've had in the past 3 years since I got back from the mish and started dating Brad. I tried to add a bunch more, but I'm mildly computer retarded and ran into minor technical difficulties. So whatever.

So this is when I'd known Brad for like 17 days- so yeah we were engaged by this point. WHO DOES THAT?!?!?!?!! Anyway, we were taking a picture on the camera on his computer. I'm so blonde.
So two months after we got married, Brad went on a trip and while he was gone I colored my hair dark brown. This pic was us in December- Brad had just done a Nativity with Curry and the Camel (of course) - so he was a little "off " smelling- but still so dang cute!!!

Stadium of Fire 2006- we went to see Taylor Hicks and yeah...kind of disappointing. Taylor was fine, but the whole show just pretty much sucked. We could have seen the fireworks better if we'd just watched them from outside of the stadium. Cuz the ashes were just falling all over us, where we were sitting. Lame. So needless to say, we won't be going again anytime soon.
This is just me this past month. Nothing special- I just went all blonde again. I haven't been this blonde since mydays of single-hood. I enjoy it thoroughly!

Uh-Hem

"Lucida Grande"- What a beautiful font name. Im hoping 'Big Lucy' will inspire me with words to say today, because as of now- I don't have much to speak of. WAIT?! W.T.F MATE!!! How blasphemous can one girl be? I have something very grande to speak of (I knew this font was gonna come in handy)- WE GOT A NEW STOVE!!!!!!!! and not only a new stove, NEW POTS AND PANS!!!!!!!!!! You know your life is all down hill from here, when a new stove and pots and pans are THIS exciting. I nearly thought Brad was going to LEAVE me for this stove. It is a looker, I'll give him that much. It is a Maytag 5.1 Cubic Ft Free Standing Ceramic top range-in white. The Home Depot has some very nice things to say about our range, and I quote:

"
Maytag® 5.1 cu. ft.-capacity ranges give you the performance you need for even cooking results you can depend on. This range features Maytag's Precision Cooking™ System with Precise Preheat: set the cooking temperature you want; the oven will alert you based on actual temperature, not a preset time, for accuracy and better results.......The easy-to-clean smoothtop cooktop has four elements: one 12", one 9" and two 6". And for peace of mind, every Maytag® range is protected by the Maytag® Dependable Performance Warranty." Unquote.

*Starry eyes and a deep, relieved sounding sigh* Does life get any better than that I ask? Nay.
I really don't even know where to begin with the pots and pans. They're beautiful.... and heavy duty AND they can be put in the oven! I massaged (Deep tissue, not Shiatsu) some garlic, pepper, Worchestisheireeiry (spelling?) Sauce, butter, and some other spices into some juicy Top Sirloin steaks the other night and browned them in my new 10" skillet on the stove (see above for details) and then popped them, STILL IN THE PAN, into the oven to finish cooking. Delectable . K well- speaking of 'in the pan', its time for me to go home!! TGIF!!!!!!!

Its so bored in here

Since my job is on the Outs, its all sorts of slow and boring in here. There's 2 of us here today, and I'M fun.....but the other guy is just reading a book, so we'll call him boring. I guess I'll have to ponder on yester-years as to not go into a comatose state. Yester-years were fun years, specially the years of yesterday. Yesterday Brad and I had some fun time friends over and we played Guitar Hero for way too many hours and then filled our faces with Brads not so famous but oh so delish-shus Honey Oat bread. IT WAS WAY YUM, and not for the faint of heart. (Whatever that means) Okay well speaking of fainting, I needs to eat before I myself topple over.

Forever Your Lighthouse, Andrea
